Build Explanation
The weakness of the Death Knight tank is when all his survival abilities are on CD: Bone Armor / Icebound Fortitude / Unbreakable Armor / Lichborne, depending on your spec. This Death Knight Tanking build is designed to give you maximum survivability during the no-CD gap. After all, it's no use having good survivability with a CD up, if you are prone to die when it wears off.
23/41/7 fits perfectly:
- In Blood up to Veteran of the Third War ( +6% stamina, +6% strength, 6 expertise)
- In Frost up to Frost Strike (high threat runic power dump)
- In Unholy the 'mandatory 7': 5% dodge and increased frost fever / blood plague duration.
