Death Knight Talent Build: Unholy PvP DPS
Starting with the Frost Tree you take some armor enhancement, 30% increased frost damage, and pick up Lichborne so you can become immune to charm, fear, sleep, and take 25% less melee hits every 3 minutes. You also grab annihilation from this tree so Obliterate won't consume the diseases on targets. Annihilation can be exchanged for Wandering Plague in the Unholy Tree if you are planning on doing Battlegrounds and AoEing large groups of people.
Then we move into the Unholy Tree where the real ass whooping takes places. In this tree you will increase disease damage, critical strikes, AoE capability, and pet capability. You may want to leave Frost Aura on for extra DPS.
Basically, people will want to run away from you when you enter PvP but with unholy command they won't get too far.
id just like to point out some ideas that i think could improve this build.
3/3 outbreak and 1/1 corpse explosion should be dropped.
-outbreak is minimal damage increase on moves that are used less in an arena setting
-the same is true with corpse explosion
0/2 on a pale horse is a necessity
-its arena, you need to never get cc'd
-not for mount speed
Night of the Dead is another talent that is essential
-need to keep your ghoul up
-damage
-cc
Unholy Presence is a necessity
-move speed increase
-this solves mdpsers biggest problem in arena, closing gaps
Annihilation should be dropped as well (optional)
-personally I never use oblit in arena as unholy, might as well use scourge strike
-3% crit is nice but the points could be better spent
Other notes:
Necrosis is good to have, if you can fit it in.
BCB doesnt need to be maxed out.
Toughness is debatable, as well. Could be better to go for the more dps oriented talents.
