Hunters

The Hunter is one of the classes that has a limited role and purpose in World of Warcraft. The Hunter is primarily a ranged DPS class and through the talent tree it has some roles that can be enhanced to perform roles outside of ranged DPS efficiently, like crowd control, pulling, tanking (with Hunter or pet usually temporary or in special circumstances), and AoE'ing.

It is indisputably the fastest solo leveling class in game and one of the easiest to farm with having almost no downtime. Its pet can be enhanced so much that it can out mitigate and out DPS a vast portion of nooby Warriors. Who wouldn't want to have a Warrior at their command while leveling, you can even heal it!

Pros

Awesome range DPS, ability to control a variety of beasts, effective at pulling in instances, and great crowd control.

Cons

Not very many melee abilities, have to be a certain distance away from a target to use ranged damage, and has limited roles in game.
