Mage Talent Build: Frost Raiding

This is a Frost Mage raiding build that was used during the WOTLK Beta. There are 11 points placed in the Arcane talent tree most importantly to increase critical strike chance (Focus Magic) and reduce mana cost (Arcane Concentration). There are also 10 points placed in the Fire tree in order to take advantage of Ignite which provides increased damage on Frostfire Bolt critical strikes. The points placed in the Fire tree to take advantage of Ignite can easily be reassigned to fill up more spots in the Frost tree or even the Arcane tree as you see fit.

If you are going to use this build it's important to obviously spam your Frost spells and to use abilities selected from the trees like Focus Magic, Icy Veins, and the Water Elemental. If you select these talents but fail to use them they will be of no help to you.
