Build Explanation
This is my favorite priest build because it is based on critical heals....which is rare in a healer build. This makes it actually not painful to solo and quest with, which is great, while still giving you really good healing talents. With this build critical heals actually count as a mana regen because of Rapture. So you can take crit gear instead of mp5 gear...and I still rarely ever have to drink during an instance....maybe once or twice. When you crit heal...which for me is about 25% of the time (and I have just normal blue gear) several things happen:
You get more mana back with rapture.
Target is shielded for 30% of the amount healed. (Divine Ageis)
Target's armor goes up by 25%. (Inspiration)
Penance (the end skill for Discipline) is by far the most mana efficient heal, plus it has three chances to crit not just one, and one cast of Penance will stack the full three Graces on your target.
As far as glyphs go I recommend the Flash Heal glyph to reduce the cost of it by 10%. Since this is a crit build...you should never use Greater Heal....only Flash Heal. With the Glyph and crits it is pretty much equal in mana efficiency as GH anyway.
The only weakness of this build I would say is AOE heals.....Holy spec has much more advantages to that. But i've done well just using lots of Prayer of Mending, Holy Nova, and Prayer of Healing. I like popping Inner Focus for a Prayer of Healing....not only are you getting a massive cost spell for free....but half of the heals will crit.
