Warlocks

Warlocks were once one of the least desired classes for players to play and guilds to want but all of that changed in the Burning Crusade and now with the Wrath of the Lich King, the Warlock population has become overwhelming. Don't be discouraged, this doesn't mean that Warlocks are not wanted, it is quite the opposite, some guilds are running as many as 10 Warlocks on a 25 man raid. Why? Because they are the current DPS leaders!

Warlocks may become a little harder to play in WOTLK but their DPS will still be near the top and all of the trees will have viable DPS builds this time around so Warlocks can choose whatever they'd like and still excel.

Pros

Warlocks have the ability to summon a variety of demons to aid them in battle. They can also create healthstones for their party and summon other members of their group into instances or almost anywhere on the map. Warlocks also get free ground mounts and they are able to heal themselves through life draining methods.

Cons

Some spells require warlock created reagents like soul shards. Warlocks are limited to wearing cloth armor and have no melee capability.
